I am so overwhelmed with all the wonderful and quick responses from each of you!
I only wish I had the time to personally write to each of you right now. Please forgive me.
The nice thing is knowing that you all understand.
Any spare time I have right now is spent just staring at our miracle.
It blows my mind that Bill and I created this... this... Angel? This incredible gift from God.
When I think about God, trusting us with this spirit, I want to cry. After all the mistakes and imperfections that I have made and will continue to carry around, HE still trusts me. He believes in Bill and I and if these past few days is what ETERNITY feels like, I will do everything I can to keep this for forever.
I wasn't going to watch her arrival, but I gave in. My husband tried to make me laugh throughout the pushing and I was getting a little erked... I stated "William, not now!" (Oh it hurt so bad to push and laugh at the same time). Leave it to my husband to say these words just seconds after she came out.
"How does it feel to have just pushed out the biggest tird of your life?"
Okay, he did say some beautiful words before that, but for some reason this sentence has stuck out more than the rest. ( I wonder why).
Anyway, I feel like I am in Heaven. After years of being single and feeling like having a husband and children wasn't meant for me in this life, I now have both.
I am now 30 years old and have only begun to live.....
How can anyone who has experienced this, wonder if there is a God. Children are nothing BUT a testimony of his existence. I don't know that I have ever felt him so close. Perhaps in 1 month, when Bill and I lay her across the altar, the closeness will only intensify. For now I am content and I am filled with Godly joy.
Thank You all for thinking of us and being as anxious as us for her arrival. We love you all and will personally thank each of you soon.
