Belated Christmas Post

Bill and I were very fortunate to spend the Holidays with both families. We had such a wonderful time. It has been a blessing that Bill as been able to work closer to home, we loved seeing all of you.

Our Christmas really was special and these pictures are posted a little late, but they already make me miss everyone.

A TOAST TO RATATOUILLE

STUPID MOVIE. You've made me consider something totally insane.

Last night we were both in the kitchen. We also both heard the noise. Dax (our dog) beelined it toward the dishwasher. At first I didn't think anything of it, until, he shoved his nose between the cracks of the lovely appliance.

Strange. Still the thought completely passed through one ear and out the other.

I awoke this morning and for some strange reason asked Bill to check under our sink for this gray haired, little critter. About 5 minutes later he announces we have had a visitor.

LITTLE TURDS EVERYWHERE. These rodents pooped all over my food pantry and underneath our sink.

Before Bill pulls anymore stuff out, I hop up on the counter, whip out breakfast for Paisley and observe with feet OFF the ground.

My first reaction is that I want to vomit. But then odd thoughts flowed into my mind about these nasty little creatures.

First off, why did God create them?

Second, do they have feelings?

And then even crazier, I start thinking about this lovely movie. Did this critter cook some gourmet meal for his family while we were away? Is his family underneath our house, in the crawl space, singing songs with empty stomachs? Are they dancing in my walls and mocking me for my fear?

How in the world did I start sympathizing for a stupid mouse?

I think the poop is getting to my mind.

I AM GOING TO DIE---- FROM THE

HAUNTOVIRUS.

Stupid Movie.

I wish the movie gave suggestions on how to KILL..KILL...KILL them. But no, Disney wouldn't create such violence.

So I ask you, what's the best way to D.E.S.T.R.O.Y. my new found friends?

YES PAISLEY, WISHES DO COME TRUE!

What I wanted most for Christmas, I received.

Nope, the box DID NOT contain a positive EPT Test.

That small little box that was hid under the tree contained two words that I have been waiting to hear...

CLEARANCE ACCEPTED!

Santa brought me my Christmas wish. On January 24th Bill and I will be taking our beautiful daughter to the Temple to be sealed.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this wonderful gift. I have dreamed of this day for many, many years. A part of me is sad when I look back at my Wedding pictures and the Temple is missing in the background. Though I may sit and wonder why we didn't get the clearance a year ago, I won't know the complete reason in this life. All I know is that I DID marry a man who was "willing and worthy" to take me to the Temple.

Sometimes, I admit, it was hard to have complete faith in things this past year. But all I can do now is express my gratitude for not asking us to wait any longer. The most important thing is not the pictures, but reaching this goal.

I love you. I love my eternal family. I love this gospel.

I can't wait to lay our little girl across the altar and seal her to us.

This day will soon be here.

My dreams from my childhood are STILL comingn true.
