March was quite the month. After going through many tough weeks of Chemo and Radiation for throat cancer, Grandpa Hansen was informed that He was cancer free. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just two days before the blessed news. A few of us family members were able to celebrate with them by going out to lunch, Grandpa picked Olive Garden.
The tears could not stop flowing from my Grandfather and Grandmother's eyes. It was such a tender weekend, seeing the love that they shared for each other. Sixty Years. Wow. Bill and I will be in our 90's when we celebrate ours.... Ouch.
Anyway, Paisley and I were able to spend quite a bit of time with family and friends, including my former Mission President and his wife.
With these months of Bill's crazy work schedule, I really am grateful for the opportunity it is allowing me to see my family so much. I've become so much closer with them and I am truly cherishing it. I love the closeness I have been feeling with my twin. I felt such a distance in my wandering days, but marriage and pregnancy and childbirth has brought that distance to a close. Thank You Jamie for being such a wonderful sister.
I have been trying to keep Paisley close to my good friends like Mryiah, Joey and my Mother in Law's special ed students. I really want Paisley to feel the special spirit these children have and always make friends with them, they are so special.
I'm also so thankful for God and his hand in my life. For the times he has answered my prayers and for the times he hasn't answered my prayers. He truly knows what he is doing. When we sit back and let him lead, it is an incredible journey that he will take us on.
Thank You God, for my family and friends. They are my life's greatest gifts.

That's great you've been able to spend so much time with your family and friends! I wish I was closer to home and could hop in the car and do the same. You're lucky! How's Paulette? I don't think I've seen a picture of her or heard any "news" about her in a long time.
Glad to hear things are going well. Such happy news about your Grandpa. Amazing isn't it? I love that little Paisley (or Helga) I can't belive I just used that name!!! I haven't met her yet and she is getting so big. Hopefully soon! We would love to hang out with you and Bill. Talk to you soon.
